Changeless Nature, The Mahayana Uttara Tantra Shastra

£5.00

By Arya Maitreya and Acarya Asanga

Translated by Ken & Katia Holmes under the guidance of Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche

Extract from Translators' Preface
The whole point of the teachings (of the Buddha) is to help the realisation of absence of self (voidness) take place. A correct understanding of voidness does not mean an empty space which has no life or change. Voidness is the very nature, the essence of phenomena, and in its pure phase, its great clarity can manifest all the aspects of Buddhahood. It is full of possibilities. There is an indivisible union of voidness and clarity - clear, vivid intelligence. This union is the very essence of the Buddhas and it is present in everyone's mind. If one can work on it then Buddhahood will manifest.
As it is present in all beings, anyone who practises can achieve full realisation of this essence - Buddhahood, regardless of their sex, race or backgrounds.
